- Version 1.0b6
- What's New:
- It highlights the user's cards when it is his/her turn. Some people had trouble realising when it is their turn. Hopefully this will clear things up a bit :)
- New Statistics window available through the File menu
- New Reset Game option which puts you into a pre-game state. Available through the File menu.
- Fixed a bug which would cause invalid cards to be dealt if the Allow Jokers variation was unchecked.
- Some minor cosmetic improvements
- Later that day...
- Fixed a bug (I think) where the score board would be drawn outside of the window.
Sunday November 9, 2003

- Squashed a bug which prevented the number of opponents being saved with the preferences
- Fixed a couple minor cosmetic bugs
Thursday November 6, 2003
- Version 1.0b4
- What's New:
- Medium and High skill levels
- Saves Auto-Pass setting with preferences
- Automatically selects cards to discard if the user is the Asshole or Vice-Asshole
- New option to disable the ability to use the Auto-Play mode when in a networked game.
- Plugged a memory leak
- Squashed a bug which prevented the computer from Auto-Discarding when Auto-Play is turned on
- Squashed a bug (I think) where, sometimes, the wrong person would be assigned the rank of "Asshole"
- Squashed a bug where a player wouldn't get any cards if he joined a network game already in progress
- Some of the fixes required me to make changes to the protocol, which means it won't play with older versions of Asshole II.
Thursday October 30, 2003
- Version 1.0b3
- What's New:
- Network Play (YAY!)
- Complete support for Unicode text under MacOS X. Mostly complete support for Unicode text under MacOS 9.
- I've changed the way it saves the preferences, so preferences will be lost from previous versions.
- Some dialogs have been changed into sheets for MacOS X
- Some bugs fixed
Sunday October 12, 2003
- New Icon and new deck of cards which doesn't infringe on anyone's copywrite.
I am still looking for a better-looking deck if anyone is willing to produce one for me :)
- This version has networking ability, however, it's quite buggy right now. Only the single-player game is reliable right now.
Tuesday June 18, 2002
- A new Carbon version. Not much is different, but it uses Carbon Events now, and the Prefs Window, and Quit menu item should work fine now.
- Discontinued non-Carbon version. Sorry, but it is too much trouble to support two versions. It will hopefully run on MacOS 8.1+, and should run fine on MacOS 9.0+ (With the newest version of CarbonLib installed).
